QUESTIONS BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS?

GOOD. ASK AWAY.

Most people walk in with questions. Most have never boxed. Here’s what to expect, what to bring, and why nobody is going to punch you back.

What is Omni Fight Club?

Omni Fight Club is a 60-minute, coach-led group fitness workout built around boxing, kickboxing, strength, and conditioning. You train on heavy bags, work padded mitts and Thai pads with coaches, lift weights, and move through eight structured rounds. There is no sparring, and nobody punches you.

Do I need boxing experience or to be in shape first?

No. Most new members have never boxed, and you do not need to get in shape before you start. You are not expected to keep up with anyone else. Coaches teach the basics, adjust the pace, simplify combinations, and modify strength work. Start where you are. That is the point.

What happens in an OFC class?

Your coach demonstrates each round and guides you through boxing combinations, kicks, strength work, conditioning, and core training. Depending on the day, you may also work focus mitts or Thai pads directly with a coach. The pace is challenging, but the movements can be adjusted to your level.

How early should I show up?

Come 15 minutes before class so we can get your hands wrapped, walk you through the workout, and make sure you feel ready to roll.

What should I bring to class?

Water, a towel, and clothes you can move in. Gloves and wraps are required. Bring your own or borrow a pair for your first visit. We’ll help you get everything on correctly.

How long are classes?

Adult classes run about 60 minutes. Regular kids’ classes are 45 minutes, from 4:45 to 5:30 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Do you offer a free class?

Yes. Your first class is free. Pick a time on the Free Class page, reserve your bag, and arrive 15 minutes early so we can get you set up.

How often should I come?

Start with a schedule you can repeat. Two classes a week can build a strong routine. Three gives you more momentum. If OFC is your main training program and your recovery supports it, you may want more. A coach can help you choose a realistic starting point.

Will I get hit?

No. OFC is boxing-inspired fitness, not sparring. You hit heavy bags and padded mitts or Thai pads held by coaches. Nobody is throwing punches at you.

Can I bring a friend?

Definitely. If it’s their first visit, send them the Free Class link so they can reserve their own bag. Booking separately helps us have the right gear and coaching ready for both of you.

How is Omni Fight Club different from other gyms?

At OFC, coaches run the room. They teach technique, make modifications, and work real focus mitts and Thai pads with members during class. You box, kick, lift, and condition without following a screen or sparring. The workout changes enough to stay interesting, while the coaching helps you make progress.

Do you have youth classes?

Yes. Our regular kids’ program is for ages 8 to 12, with coached classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:45 to 5:30 PM. Kids practice boxing and kickboxing technique, strength, coordination, and cardiovascular exercises. Classes typically have 10 to 12 kids, and membership is $125 per month for eight classes. Ages 13 and up are recommended to join adult classes. Our summer program typically runs in June and July for ages 6 to 12, with classes Monday through Thursday at 4:45 PM. Summer dates and pricing vary by year. See the Kids section on our Memberships page or contact the team for current summer details.
